God’s Plan of Salvation

If you can answer “yes” to the following four questions, then proceed to the fifth for salvation.

  1. Do you believe in God?
I John 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.”
  2. Do you believe that you are a sinner?
Romans 3:10, 23 “As written, There is non righteous, no not one…for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
  3. Do you believe that your sins have separated you from God?
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death.” This has reference to being separated from God because of sin.
  4. Do you believe the death of Jesus Christ paid your entire sin debt?
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
  5. Have you asked God to forgive your sins and through faith, accepted Jesus as your savior?
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Luke 13:3 “I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Many people can answer “yes” to the first four questions. However, a person will remain “lost” until he or she can answer “yes” to the fifth question.

Just because you believe in God does not mean you are saved. Jesus said to a religious believer in the Bible, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ‘Ye must be born again.'” This religious man believed in God, but he was lost and needed to be saved.

You can also be saved:

If you answered “yes” to the first four questions, then (from the depths of your heart) ask God to forgive your sins, and put your trust in Jesus, and ask Him to save you, and He will!

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
